Looking for a hairstyle to rock this weekend? Then you’re in luck, because today we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane and look back at 5 of our favourite YouTube hair tutorial videos so far. There’s bound to be a style you’ll like amongst this lot…
FAVOURITE HAIR TUTORIALS: KIM KARDASHIAN IBIZA BRAIDS
First in our line up of 5 favourite hair tutorials comes this oh-so-glamorous Kim Kardashian-inspired hairstyle: Ibiza braids! We think this style is a really nice way to give your hair a lovely half-up, half-down effect – and it’s also really unusual without being over the top. All in all, we think it’s the perfect summer evening hairstyle – but you probably wouldn’t expect anything less from Kim Kardashian, would you? Check out the full tutorial here.
FAVOURITE HAIR TUTORIALS: THE FISHTAIL BRAID UPDO
Next up we have another of our all-time favourite hair tutorials – the fishtail braid updo! This fun, flirty updo is so pretty, yet it’s amazingly easy to create; all you have to do is create a fishtail braid in your hair, and then pin it up into a chignon at the back of your head. It’s a really eye-catching hairstyle that looks like it’s taken ages to do, but in actual fact you could manage it in less than five minutes – so it’s ideal for when you’re late for an important date! Check out the full tutorial here.
FAVOURITE HAIR TUTORIALS: PERRIE EDWARDS FLOWER BRAID
Next, we have this Perrie Edwards-inspired flower braid hair tutorial. We Dirty Looks girls think this is the prettiest, girliest, most gorgeous idea ever if you really want your hair to make a statement! All it is, is a French fishtail braid accessorised with fresh flowers – but to update the look for Halloween or Christmas, you could find other pretty little things like ribbon or bows to adorn it with. Plus, it always looks good with pastel or coloured hair extensions (vietnam human hair )too! Check out the full tutorial here.
FAVOURITE HAIR TUTORIALS: VOLUMIZED BARDOT PONYTAIL
Another of our favourite hair tutorials so far is this amazingly volumized Brigitte Bardot-style ponytail. We’re big fans of voluminous hairstyles – and this is a really cool, retro kind of take on the look. Plus, you get to use a hair rat to style it – one of our favourite styling tools! We definitely recommend this hairstyle if you’re fed up of always wearing your hair down, but you don’t like the idea of having it all pulled back or swept up. Check out the full tutorial here.
FAVOURITE HAIR TUTORIALS: TOUSLED FESTIVAL HAIR
Finally, the last of our top five favourite hair tutorials so far is this tousled festival hair tutorial. We think that the overall look is really laid-back and really fun – and the motorised waving wand you’ll need to use is pretty awesome too! Again, this is another hairstyle that looks really pretty with pastel hair extensions or boho hair accessories like flower crowns or headdresses – and it definitely looks just as cute in autumn or winter as it does in summer! Check out the full tutorial here.
We hope you’ve enjoyed our five favourite hair tutorials so far! Which one is your favourite?
